Kaylea Waechter is an experienced trial attorney who specializes in motor-vehicle collisions, catastrophic injury cases, Dram Shop violations, wrongful death, premise liability and bad faith cases. Ms. Waechter also does a variety of business litigation including civil theft and breach of contract claims.
Ms. Waechter has spent her legal career representing those who have been wrongfully injured due to the actions of someone else at both the federal level and across all jurisdictions in Colorado. Ms. Waechter has successfully litigated, and negotiated, a multitude of challenging cases.
Ms. Waechter graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and previously attended an undergraduate program at the University of Denver with two degrees, one in psychology and one in political science.
Ms. Waechter has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2021, 2022 and 2024 and by the National Trial Lawyers as a top injury litigator in Colorado.
Ms. Waechter is an active member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA), has sat on the University of Denver Sturm College of Law's alumni council for two terms, and participates as a mentor for the University of Denver's law school students.
In her free time, Ms. Waechter enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, concerts, traveling, and is an avid self-proclaimed “foodie”.
